Member since 2004
Freelance writer, travel, art, culture, educational art
Renee, who passed the Colorado Bar in 1985, is a busy mom to seven children. Her knack for retelling old folk tales and desire to work from home led to her career as a freelance writer. “All my life I wanted to be a writer and storyteller,” she said. Renees diverse accomplishments include writing for the Pueblo Chieftain and North Denver News, as well as being the art and cultural events writer for La Voz Nueva and Out Front Colorado. She also penned a series of childrens books including Chili Today Hot Tamale, and has several short stories pending national publication. Renee spends a lot of time in front of my computer and would welcome the company of and opportunity to work with other female writers in a social setting.
